How information reaching the Firm is treated.
Confidentiality is a professional obligation before it is a policy. This page describes, in ordinary terms, what happens to information that comes to the Firm through this website.
Scope
This statement describes how PARVIRA LAW handles personal information that reaches the Firm through this website or through correspondence prompted by it. Information received in the course of an engagement is governed additionally by the Firm's professional obligations of confidentiality and privilege, which are stricter than anything set out here.
Information the Firm receives
This website has no enquiry form, account, subscription or tracking pixel. The Firm therefore does not collect personal information through the site itself.
If you choose to write to the Firm using the published address or telephone number, the Firm will hold whatever you send — typically your name, contact details and a description of your query — for the purpose of responding and of checking whether it is able to act.
How that information is used
Information is used only to respond to your correspondence, to run a conflicts check, and, if an engagement follows, to conduct the matter.
The Firm does not sell, rent or trade personal information, and does not use it for marketing of any kind.
Disclosure
Personal information is disclosed only where you have instructed the Firm to do so, where disclosure is necessary to conduct a matter you have instructed, or where the Firm is required to disclose it by law or by an order of a court or competent authority.
Where support is provided by counsel, agents or service providers, they are bound by equivalent obligations of confidence.
Retention and security
Correspondence and matter records are retained for as long as required for professional, regulatory and limitation purposes, and are then disposed of securely.
The Firm takes reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information in its custody. No method of transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be entirely secure, and sensitive material should not be sent by unencrypted email.
Your requests
You may write to parth.ranade1208@gmail.com to ask what personal information the Firm holds about you, to have it corrected, or to ask that it be deleted where the Firm is not required to retain it.
