Disputes & Arbitration
Contested matters conducted on a disciplined record, in arbitration and before the courts.
The Firm advises and appears in arbitral proceedings and in civil, commercial, family and regulatory litigation, from the first assessment of the position through to enforcement.
A dispute is prepared to be understood: pleadings, documents and chronologies are drafted so that the matter reads clearly from the first page, and so that the case a tribunal hears is the case on the file.
Litigation is treated as one option among several. Where a negotiated or mediated resolution serves a party better than a contested one, that view is recorded and explained.
